The design team was very sensitive to the historic significance of the site as well as the needs of a high school desiring to be on the leading edges of the 21st century.
The design emphasizes the Art Deco Style of the campus, increases usable square footage, improves supervision and provides total ADA/Title 24 Accessibility, including elevators and ramps. Buildings G & H have undergone a complete seismic and structural upgrade to meet current codes. This required gutting the entire inside of the structure for new walls, mechanical, plumbing, electrical and communications systems. The buildings are now restored to their original grander through an extensive exterior face lift, including paint, glazing, site and landscaping improvements.
