PGA Clubhouse
Project Detail: Specifically designed for professional level tournament play, this new facility hosted a PGA event in the year 2005. Designed by Westberg + White Architects and Planners, the approximately 32,500 square foot facility was built on a construction budget of $5.2 Million.
Capo Valley Pool
Project Detail: Designed by P.J.H.M. Architects, this approximately 3,500 square foot 50 Meter Olympic size pool facility was built as an addition to an existing H.S. to create swimming programs to augment and expand the schools physical education curriculum. Completed in 2002, this new facility includes Pool, exterior Showers, Office and Storage areas, Pool Equipment Room, Toilet Rooms, and Faculty Work Rooms.
RSM Methodist Church
Project Detail: Designed by Jacobson Architects, this approximately 30,000 square foot facility was built in three phases and includes a 7,000 square foot Auditorium. The project is currently under construction.
Anaheim Entertainment Disney Parking Structure
Project Detail: This technically challenging project included one of the largest Class 3 Standpipe systems in the country as part of BP & Associates' fire protection design. To provide the required pressure at fire protection outlets, a centrally located 125 horsepower, 1,250 gallon per minute electric horizontal split-case fire pump was needed. This fire pump provided the water service required to feed (36) separate standpipe risers
Paseo Colorado
Project Detail: This revitalization of an existing three-block shopping mall along Colorado Boulevard was envisioned as a cornerstone to Pasadena's Downtown Redevelopment Master Plan. The bustling mixed-use development includes elements of retail, entertainment, residential, and office occupancies.
Mount San Antonio College HCC and ESL Buildings
Project Detail: Designed by HMC Architects, this approximately 88,000 square foot facility consists of 3 separate two story structures, including the Health Careers Center (HCC) and the English as a Second Language (ESL) Facilities. The combined projects entailed new construction with a total budget of $18 Million.
Long Beach Polytechnic High School Modernization
Project Detail: This historic facility is located on the coast of Long Beach, California. Currently serving 4,500 students, the campus consists of (19) multi-story buildings, including Natatorium, Gymnasium, Auditorium, Classroom Buildings, Shops, and Administration. Built in the 1930's, the entire site was recently modernized under the direction of WLC Architects.
Corona Ranch
Project Detail: Designed by KPI Architects, this approximately 70,000 square foot facility was required to address the increasing area population demand on the Corona-Norco Unified School District. The project entailed new construction with a total budget of approximately $9 Million.
City of Cerritos Parking Structure
Project Detail: This subterranean parking structure presented particular challenges in working with the high water table present in the area. In coordination with the Structural and Soils Engineers, BP & Associates designed a high flow rate below-slab dewatering system for groundwater abatement.
City of Glendale Parking Structure
Project Detail: Designed for Walker Parking Consultants, this mixed occupancy building combined a nine level (three subterranean) Type S-4 528 vehicle parking structure with retail spaces including restroom facilities. The project was conceived to serve a newly renovated area of the Downtown District of Glendale, California.
Kaiser Permanente
Project Detail: Mechanical engineering for ground-up construction of various Kaiser Permanente Medical Facilities as well as HVAC upgrades for numerous Kaiser Permanente remodel projects. Specialty areas include patient areas, recovery areas, procedural rooms, radiology (flouroscopy, X-ray, MRI, angiogram, etc.), exam rooms and laboratories.
Loma Linda University Medical Center
Project Detail: This historic facility is located on the coast of Long Beach, California. California State Correctional Facilities - Adelanto, CA & McFarland, CA
Project Detail: Commissioned by the California Department of Corrections, these three facilities were Designed and Built under the direction of Wackenhut Corrections. BP & Associates provided a complete Design-Build Plumbing System for the projects in collaboration with DK Mechanical. A prototype Correctional Facility was designed and site-adapted for three separate facilities, two of which are located in McFarland, California and one in Adelanto, California.
Fontana Fire Station
Project Detail: Designed to the latest standards of the Fontana Fire Authority, this cutting edge facility serves to add additional Community Fire and Safety resources for the City of Fontana.
Carlsbad Fire Station No.6, Carlsbad, California
Project Detail: Fire Station No. 6 is a two-bay station located in the southeast portion of the City of Carlsbad, along Rancho Santa Fe Road. The uniqueness of the site is the location in the middle of a wildlife preserve, requiring that the station have a small footprint. It is one of the smaller fire stations at 6,182 square feet. Fire Station No. 6 is designed to accommodate four crew members. A two-story entrance atrium leads to a large two-story open workstation area for three crew members. A hallway connects a single private office on the first floor along with restrooms and four individual dormitories. Gathering spaces like day room, dining room, kitchen, and exercise room are provided on the second floor. Other program spaces include workshop, laundry room, turn-out storage, and various other mechanical and electrical rooms and support spaces.
El Cerrito High School, El Cerritos, California
Project Detail: The reconstruction of El Cerrito High School will demolish 196,000 square feet of outdated facilities and construct 192,000 square feet to serve as the new educational environment for the school’s 1600 students. The administration, library, and community support programs are semi-public areas (they must be easily accessible to the public and central to the school as a whole). The design maximizes the natural topography of the site enabling direct ground level access to each of these public areas from the surrounding streets and parking lots. The classrooms are the most private and as such are recessed from the noise and distraction of the streets by a minimum distance set during master planning. Completion Date 12/2008.
Gilroy Fire Station No. 3, Gilroy, California
Project Detail: In 2004, the City of Gilroy and the Gilroy Fire Department occupied it’s first new station in over 20 years. This 2-bay, double deep substation is designed to be a prototype and is to set standards for future substations in this rapidly growing City. Materials and finishes were selected for durability; ease of maintenance, and to reflect the character of the neighboring homes. Generous use of sky lights for internal daylighting minimizes daily energy usage. Small neighborhood group meetings can be accommodated while maintaining separation from the department private areas. Project cost $3,230,314.00 Square footage 8,558 Completion date 5/2004
