The facility's aging Mechanical and Plumbing systems presented unique design challenges. The existing campus steam system distribution via utility tunnels was replaced with new localized hydronic or steam heating systems at each of the buildings. New heating piping, pumps, air handling units, and exhaust fans were added to take the place of the outdated systems. Plumbing systems were renovated throughout, completing the High School's mechanical reconstruction.
